The Food Drive
The food drive is a church wide event to benefit the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. The event has a three prong approach:
1. Neighborhood Collection: Members will collect food by distributing grocery bags to neighbors and providing instruction on how to contribute.
2. Member Collection: Members will participate in the food drive by contributing themselves to the cause. On Sunday, December 6th, members will receive their bags and directions to return filled bags the following Sunday. Returned bags will be left at their car bumper for collection.
3. Public Collection: A box truck will be placed in front of the church during the week of December 6 – 13. The truck will have a large banner placed on the side letting 401 traffic know we are collecting from the public.
