 Baptism for Children

When it comes time to publicly acknowledging their trust in Christ by getting baptized, we want to make sure children have a proper understanding of this milestone act of faith.  Children need to clearly understand that baptism is an act of obedience and doesn’t save you, but they need to appreciate the sacred importance of this special ceremony.  Therefore, we require all children who desire to be baptized, to complete the workbook, “I’m a Christian Now” with their parents and then come to a baptism class.  The class is offered once a month.  Please contact Lou Ann Upchurch, 919-747-5825 for a copy of the book and to sign up for the class.
