What Does MBC Have For My Family?

Our MBC family would love to welcome your family to church next weekend. We have opportunities for each member of your family to discover God through the Bible. Read the summaries below of Preschool, Children’s, Student Ministries, College and Career, and Adults. We hope this helps you to get a personal and friendly first look at MBC.

Kid Zone Childrens Ministry- we have age graded small groups for birth - 5th grade.  We teach the love of Jesus with energy, enthusiasm, fun and creativity.

Wee Worship is a Sunday morning preschool worship time at 9:40am for toddlers and two year olds on the Jonah Hall and for three - five year olds on the Noah Hall that is interactive and fun with singing, puppets, Bible stories , and crafts.

Kidstuf is a high energy, multi-media, interactive production for elementary- aged children at 9:40am in the Kidstuf Theatre.

The purpose is to reach children in a relevant manner, without changing the timeless message of Biblical virtues.  It is built around three basic truths:

I need to make the wise choice

I can trust God no matter what

I should treat others the way I want to be treated

Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.  Our programs offer a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.  As a ministry leader for nearly 60 years, Awana is making an impact. A recent national survey found Awana to be as important to our alumni's spiritual foundation as all other church activities combined. Among alumni who participated in our programs for at least six years, 92.7 percent  still attend church at least weekly as adults!  Each week, more than one million kids ages 2 to 18 participate in Awana. Middle School

SWAT MS is a purpose-driven student ministry that connects the students of today to the world of tomorrow. Because our world diminishes absolute truth and moral norms, it is imperative that Middle School students be transformed by the Word of God, through the Spirit of God, to the Son of God.
The SWAT Middle School Ministry exists to expose middle school students to God’s love, to equip them to exalt God, enjoy other believers, and experience the work of the ministry.

High School

The High School department at MBC partners with parents in setting Godly examples for young people. We strive to instill the Word of God in their hearts, teach them to walk in His ways, and guide them in a path of obedience. Our programs feature indepth Bible studies, missions work, service projects, camps, trips, and countless opportunities to foster friendships which could last a lifetime.

College & Career

The College & Career Ministry at MBC is made up of diverse individuals, ranging from 18-29, who have embarked on the incredible adventure to discover and fulfill their God-given purpose. The College & Career Ministry exists to build mature believers in the Lord, to equip them to minister to the church body and to reach the lost for Christ.

We believe that spiritual growth happens best in a small group environment where each person benefits from the encouragement and combined experience of many group members. At Mid-Way, small group Bible studies are a vital part of the community and provide an environment where people can grow spiritually and relationally with others at church.

We currently offer over 90 small groups that meet each Sunday Morning and serve a variety of different interests, age groups, and people. We invite you to experience dynamic spiritual growth in one of our small groups!
