A place to worship. The primary reason we meet together is to focus our attention on God by giving Him our worship and by receiving His Word. We join together to proclaim Jesus Christ to those who may not know Him, lifting our voices in praise to Him who gives us meaning and purpose in our lives.  Worship services at MBC are always centered around our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  They are powerful and meaningful, enlivened with music and practical messages from the Bible. Our pastor preaches the Gospel and emphasizes understanding eternal truths and the practical application of these truths in everyday life.

A place to walk. At MBC you will discover an atmosphere that welcomes and nurtures a fun, friendly spirit at each service and every activity.  During life's occasional hardships and discouragements, you will find our church characterized by an atmosphere of understanding, empathy, support and mutual dependence on our Lord.  God comforts us in all our troubles and we seek to comfort one another in the spirit of Christian love.

A place to work. We accept our responsibility to reach into our community in service to others.  There are needs to meet, lives to touch, hearts to influence, and opportunities to use our unique gifts.  MBC's pastoral staff spends much of their time teaching and training our church family to serve more effectively and minister to the needs within the church as well as within the community as a whole.  If you are looking for a place to be involved, your participation in serving would be welcomed and appreciated.

A place to witness. For over 40 years, Mid-Way Baptist Church has attempted to provide a place where people can hear the truths of God's Word and find meaning for their lives.  The church stands as a center for worship, learning , support, and outreach.  We boldly proclaim God's saving grace and cordially invite everyone to enjoy the warmth and excitement of this group of friends.  Over the years, countless numbers of people have experienced the grace of God and have come to call our church "home". At MBC you will find love, acceptance, encouragement, and assistance.  Whatever your situation, you will always find members of our church family eager to share with you the life-changing truths of God's Word.

Inside all major entrances, you'll find Welcome Centers where helpful hosts will be happy to assist you in finding Sunday School rooms, childcare areas and anything else you may need.

How can I get started?

When you come to visit us at MBC, we want to know you came.  You can do that by completing a welcome card, and bringing it to the Guest Services counter at the end of the service where you will receive a special gift. It's our way of saying "Thank You" for coming!
