Women's Prayer Team | Week 15
Prayer changes things. That's easy to say, but sometimes hard to believe and internalize. Yet, it's true! Prayer really does change things by moving the heart and hand of God! We are called "believers" because we are supposed to believe what God says in His Word! Have you ever felt like a "believer" who struggled with unbelief? I think we all have from time to time. But the good news is that our faith can grow! In Luke 17:5, the apostles asked Jesus to increase their faith. If they needed more faith, so do we! PRAYER TIP # 15 - Ask God to Increase Your Faith "And the apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith." - Luke 17:5 How do we increase our faith? First, we follow the apostles example and ask the Lord to increase our faith! We must go to the source of faith and ask Him to grow our belief in Him! The second thing we can do is act in faith. Stormie Omartian says in her book, The Power of a Praying Woman, that "when we step out in faith, God increase our faith...acting in faith begets more faith." We can also increase our faith by reading the Word of God (Romans 10:17). 3:30 Prayer Challenge - Plan to call someone to pray with them over the phone about whatever is on your heart! This Week's Prayer Points - (Pray over these requests);
That God would increase your faith, and the faith of all Mid-Way's congregation.
That God would give you faith to believe all that God says in His Word.
That God would transform you into a woman of mountain-moving faith. (Matthew 21:21)
That God would take the seed of faith you have now and grow it into a giant tree of faith.
SUGGESTED PRAYER - Lord, I ask You to increase my faith. Please take the tiny seed of faith that I have, and grow it into a giant tree of unwavering faith in You. I want to be a woman that believes Your Word is true and acts on it. I want to have a strong, devoted faith in You! Please transform me into a woman of mountain-moving faith as described in Matthew 21:21. Lord, I lift up Pastor Grant, Mid-Way's Staff, Life Group Leaders, Officers, and Church Family to You. I ask for protection, healing, provision, guidance, and for You to meet every need of each member and visitor as only You can. Lord, we ask for Your mighty hand of protection to cover us and keep us safe from the enemy and his evil desires by the blood of Jesus and the cross of Christ. God, I ask that You would use every Worship Service, 5 at 5, devotion, worship song, and message to further Your kingdom. We ask for souls to be saved and lives to be changed in Jesus' Name as the Gospel message goes out online and on campus. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
