We value your prayers. The world is going through "emotional tremors." After an earthquake there are tremors that can tap into the memory of the trauma of the earth quake. When we feel the tremor our mind can think, "Oh no, is this another earthquake? Is something else going to happen?" In the last several months just when we think the virus may be letting up, it increases. People get sick, loved ones pass, accidents happen. We may be tempted to insulate ourselves, doubt God and possibly get a little depressed. God is not angry with us if we are losing our fervency due to circumstances beyond our control. My hope is that this helps you to refocus if needed. Let's remind ourselves that God hasn't changed and loves you more than you can comprehend, you are precious to Him!

In order to be in tune with God, His timing and what He is up to in the world, we must pray. But sometimes our schedules, demands and passions keep our mind occupied with other things. In 1 Peter 4:7 the words "serious minded" reminds us that we can't pray effectively if we are easily caught up in emotions or passions. We need to put aside distractions, find a place of solitude, and a time of day when we can focus on God.
PRAYER POINTS - (Pray over these requests)
* Lord, we ask that the peace of God that passes all understanding will keep your children's hearts and minds and that we all stay focused and watchful.
*Please give Pastor Grant all wisdom and knowledge as he preaches and teaches at church and on the internet.
*We ask that the truth of your Word would unfold in our lives and in the world.
*Please keep us protected and we ask that we would respond with trust in You during trials.
SUGGESTED PRAYER -
Father in Heaven, We praise and thank You Lord for your loving care for us! Help us to clear our minds of distractions that keep us from being focused on You and what You are doing in the world and in our lives. May we purposefully make a time and place for us to detach from distractions and connect more directly to You and experience Your peace. Please provide Pastor Grant Your wisdom so that Your will is done. May we glorify You during trials and we ask for Your protection from harm. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
