It is the day after Thanksgiving, and November is coming to a close. I hope you have enjoyed your own season of celebration, praise, gratitude, and thanksgiving. You can probably reflect on a good memory, a godly friend, a church family, a sustaining job and many other blessings in your life. God's blessings are all around us. Today, we stop and thank God for the cross. We rejoice in Jesus Christ!
Prayer Tip #29- Praise Him!
"Nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:39 There is so much to be thankful for, but most of all, we ought to be thankful for Jesus Christ. For those of us who have placed our hope in Christ, we ought to live our lives for His glory. This year, many people have lost jobs, weddings have been canceled, loved ones have passed away, traditions have been broken and much more. But the one thing the world cannot take away from us is our salvation. It is because of Jesus that we can be joyful in every season.
In all things, whatever we do, whatever season we are in, no matter where we end up, we live in light of what Christ has accomplished on the cross. We strive to continue to grow in sanctification as we look to Christ.
What a great privilege and honor it is to live for the praise of His glory!
