There is a method to pray meaningful prayers which is combining the Word and prayer. Throughout the Bible we have written proof of what God has done for us, what He has designed in us and chosen and empowered us to become. As we pray the Word of God, we are cooperating with Him to impress these truths deeper and deeper into our hearts. Then they are available for access and we can use them to draw on their power for our everyday experiences.

Prayer Tip # 13 - Pray the Word
[We pray] "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints." Ephesians 1:17-18
How does praying the Word make our prayers impactful? The Bible is inspired, the Holy Spirit moved on men to write what God wanted to communicate to us. It contains history, promises to claim and much more. By praying the Word, we are agreeing with God. The verses above are an example of this, we can pray this prayer for ourselves and for everyone. Because it is in the Scripture, we are assured that God wants to perform it in the lives of His children.
Prayer Points - (Pray over these requests);
Lord we ask that You would bless Pastor Grant with the spirit of wisdom to preach and carry out all You have for him to accomplish.
Please give us divine guidance for all the plans of Mid-Way, that we would achieve Your will in a way that glorifies You.
May You be honored, not just in our works, but in our innermost thoughts as well.
We thank You God that the enemy is a defeated foe and that we can stand in the authority of Christ against Him and his plans to thwart Your purposes.

Precious God of our Lord Jesus Christ, we love and appreciate You! Thank You for giving Pastor Grant the spirit of wisdom and knowledge for all his teaching, preaching and plans for MBC and his life. We ask that our words and thoughts would be pleasing to You, for we know that You are aware of our inner thoughts and motives. Please heal our land and Your people of sickness. Restore us we pray so that we would serve You in the calling You have chosen for Your children.
