I want to thank each of you for being a part of this prayer team and taking the time to lift up the requests below. Your communication with the Lord on behalf of our church family is making an impact, and I am so grateful for the effort you make each week to cover this ministry in prayer!

Mid-Way's Women's event, Flourish Online, was a huge success and I feel that God heard and answered our prayers. I hope that you were able to watch it. If not, it's still up on our website for you to view at www.mid-way.com/women.

3:30 Prayer Challenge - Don't forget to call someone and pray with them at 3:30pm! This will stretch you and grow your prayer life!

PRAYER TIP #5 - PLAN TO PRAY!

Daniel 6:10 "Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days." Why should I PLAN to pray? Simply because we are busy people. We all want to pray more, but our lives get hectic and we forget to make time for prayer, and sometimes we don't pray until we're in a crisis. We can get so busy doing good things, that we forget prayer is the primary work!  Martin Luther said "I have so much to do that I shall have to spend  the first three hours in prayer!" Daniel, the Old Testament Prophet, is an amazing example, praying on his knees three times a day! Making time to pray can be simply setting an alarm on your phone to remind you, enlisting a prayer partner to pray with you at a set time during the week, or getting up early to pray when it's still quiet. Daniel set specific times to pray each day, and we can see through Scripture that it deepened his relationship with God and effectiveness as God's prophet.

PRAYER POINTS - (Pray over these requests)

  • For God to give continued wisdom and discernment to Pastor Grant, the Mid-Way Staff, and Church Leadership.

  • That the power of the Holy Spirit would be felt during the preaching of God's Word during each and every Worship Service.

  • For continued protection for our Staff and entire Church family from the enemy.

  • For our High School Graduates as they move into the next phase of their lives and follow God's plan. Pray that the Graduate Parade on Saturday is a blessing and encouragement to them.

SUGGESTED PRAYER - Dear God, I come before You in the mighty Name of Jesus, and I praise You for Who You are and the ways You are working in our lives daily. I ask for You to continue to give wisdom and discernment to Pastor Grant, the Mid-Way Staff, and Church Leadership. Please lead our church in the path You have for us. Lord, I pray that the power of the Holy Spirit would be felt every time Your Holy Word is preached, in the Worship Center and online.  I pray for Your strong hand of protection over us, to keep us safe from all forms of evil. We come against the enemy with the blood of Jesus and the Cross of Calvary, and ask You Lord to turn everything the enemy means for evil against us, for our good and Your glory.  Lord, I lift up all our High School Graduates as they enter a new stage of life. May they follow Your will and plan for them. May they feel the love and support of our church family as they step into all that You have for them, and may they stay close to You. We ask that You would use these young people to honor You and further Your kingdom.  In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
