Prayer is essential, especially now. Prayer is the true, deep, work of the ministry. Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, said, "Prayer is not preparation for the battle, it is the battle." Prayer invites God to come and work in our lives, circumstances, and hearts. Prayer is acknowledging that God is there and asking for His divine help. So as the Women's Prayer Team, let's keep doing the ESSENTIAL work of the ministry!

PRAYER TIP #7 - The One Word Prayer
How do you pray when you don't know what to say? How do you beg God to help when you're paralyzed by your circumstances? What do you say when you can't find the words? When you feel that you can't pray, simply say the Name of JESUS. This simple one-word prayer is sometimes all we can say - JESUS! There is power in the Name of Jesus, and when we simply SAY HIS NAME, He enters the equation.
Philippians 2:10
"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,"
This verse reminds us that everything must yield to the Lordship of Jesus. When we simply say His Name, and declare His sovereignty over a situation, we can be assured that He goes to work on our behalf!
PRAYER POINTS - (Pray over these requests)
That JESUS would be exalted in all that we do at Mid-Way Baptist Church.
That the Lord would give divine wisdom and discernment to Pastor Grant and our church leadership as we move into the next phase.
For JESUS to provide protection against the enemy for our staff and entire church family, through His precious blood.
For the marriages in our church family to be strengthened, for the love, respect, and health of each marriage to grow and flourish during this time.
SUGGESTED PRAYER - Dear God, I come before You in the mighty Name of Jesus, the Name above all Names. And I humbly ask that You would give wisdom to Pastor Grant and our church leadership in every area as they lead our church to honor You. Please give them discernment and peace as we move forward step by step into the future You have for us as a church. Lord, we pray the precious blood of Jesus over each and every member of the Mid-Way Church family. Lord, please protect them from the schemes of the evil one and please keep them save from evil, sickness, and the enemy, in the Name of Jesus. God, we also ask for supernatural protection for each marriage that is represented in our church family. We know that the enemy desires to steal, kill and destroy, and we come against him with the blood of Jesus and the cross of Calvary, asking You Lord to intervene in our marriages. Please bless each married couple, renew their love and respect for one another. Please help each marriage to be healthy and loving, a picture of Your love for the Church. Lord, let each marriage grow and flourish even during this season. I ask all this in the Name above all Names - Jesus. Amen.
