My Hope and Stay
We have just concluded our Missions Conference here at Mid-Way and WHAT A WEEK! My heart is encouraged, I am stirred up to “good works,” and I pray you were, too! (Hebrews 10:24, 25) We sang a worship song during one of the services during the conference that has the phrase : “Jesus, You're my hope and stay” which made me stop and think about HOPE and STAY. When we are children of the one Living God, we know where our HOPE lies, but the concept of knowing a STAY absolutely

I loved when missionaries would visit my church when I was a little girl. I knew I would see slides of foreign lands, hear stories about the people in those countries, and maybe get to hear someone speak in a different language. When the offering plate was passed, I happily gave a dollar from my piggy bank, hoping that it would bless the missionary and their work for the Lord. The Blessings of His Steadfast Love
My Bible study this year is studying The Book of Psalms, and it has amazed my soul to see God’s steadfast love. I believe when we soak in God’s steadfast love and meditate on His agape love, obedience comes as a desire.
